Nursing
Avante's nurses are knowledgeable, skilled, dedicated and sensitive professionals. They have the clinical and professional skills with the foresight to use them. As licensed and accredited nursing centers, Avante employs Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. |
Rehabilitation
The Avante Rehabilitation Program focuses on residents with multiple physical and emotional needs. The Program includes physical, speech and occupational therapy provided by the most qualified and accredited personnel in the profession. |
Recreational Activities
Each of Avante's nursing centers offers a unique approach to social and recreational activities. An Activities Director designs daily activities that promote social and physical interaction, communication and fond memories. Avante provides residents with transportation on outings, shopping trips, and community activities. |
Nutrition
Meals are prepared fresh daily by Avante's on-site dietary depart-ment. Meals are presented in an appetizing manner and are scheduled and supervised by a Registered Dietitian. Special diets are also available. |
Social Services
The Social Services Department at Avante offers each resident the option to discuss and develop solutions to meet personal needs. Avante's professional counseling services foster resident independence, dignity and personal fulfillment. Monthly Resident Council meetings afford the opportunity for self-expression regarding the day-to-day happenings in their home. Additionally, Avante's staff will provide discharge planning and will coordinate home care when applicable. |
Selectcare Services
Avante's hi-tech medical division offers alternatives to lengthy acute care stays for the medically complex patient. Avante's goal is to help people recover and reach their optimal potential after illness or injury. The uniqueness of this plan is the combination of acute care with a home-like environment. |
